We are a private company based in Palmerston North that specialises in providing pain management treatment for a variety of different chronic pain disorders.
Although we are mainly a group of professionals trained in health and clinical psychology, we also draw on the expertise and services of a range of associated professions. We have excellent networking with medical specialists such as musculo skeletal physicians, rehabilitation specialists and psychiatrists among others including contact with some leading orthopaedic surgeons. We also work with physiotherapists with special interest in chronic pain, occupational therapists, and a specialist nurse with an interest in biofeedback.
We share a passion to use cutting edge approaches to help relieve the effects of intractable pain and the longer term effects of physical injury.
We have a wide range of experience in helping individuals and groups adapt to different kinds of pain conditions. Some of these are listed below. We try to combine established and proven ways of helping people suffering pain to manage it better with seeking more innovative approaches to providing assistance. Our goal is to help pain sufferers to manage their pain better and where possible to reduce the experience of pain directly. In situations where medication does not provide sufficient relief or where the pain condition is persistent, we apply a number of different approaches designed to enable the pain patient to improve the quality of their life.
